About Us
Idoma people resident in and around the Federal Capital Territory, realizing the need for greater cooperation among ourselves, and acknowledging the necessity for enhanced integration, interdependence, economic growth and brotherly affection; and a more inclusive society at home, constituted ourselves into an Associa-tion. Thus the Ofu K'Idoma for Unity and Development Association came into existence in November 1989. At inception, it was christened Idoma Friendship Forum and was incorporated on 7th August 2013. The name of the organization was later changed to Ofu K'Idoma for Unity and Development Association and it was re-registered under the new name on the 13th of March, 2018. It currently includes almost 100 members from various walks of life, among them accomplished retired and serving civil & public servants, retired military personnel, independent professionals - lawyers, accountants, engineers, medical practitioners and businessmen, as well as some women.
